This treatment is a once-weekly injection from a newer class of medications known as dual incretin treatments. The treatment is a once-weekly self-injection. After preparing the pen and checking the flow, inject into the abdomen, thighs, or upper arms, rotating sites each time. For upper-arm injections, it’s best to have someone assist.
